Description
Keep your farm-fresh meats frozen solid—no matter where you are heading!
Whether you are packing up your 20lb Farmhouse Feast for a backcountry camping trip, taking a long road trip, or preparing your deep freezer for a power outage, our Premium Dry Ice Pellets are exactly what you need.
Sitting at a freezing point of -78.5°C (-109.3°F), dry ice is significantly colder than regular ice and leaves zero watery mess behind as it sublimates (turns directly from a solid to a gas). Our convenient, small pellet form makes it incredibly easy to scoop, pour, and pack perfectly around awkwardly shaped cuts of meat or distribute evenly across the bottom of your cooler to keep your premium HFE steaks and ground beef frozen completely solid for days.
Common Uses:
- Camping & Hunting: Keep your food safely frozen for multi-day trips without dealing with melted ice water. The pellets easily fill the empty gaps in your cooler!
- Long Transports: Perfect if you are picking up a massive meat bundle but have a long drive home or errands to run.
- Power Outages: Pour some pellets into your deep freezer during a blackout to save your valuable farm food from spoiling.
- Special Effects: Great for Halloween cauldrons and foggy party effects!
How Much Do I Need?
As a general rule, you will need about 10 to 20 lbs of dry ice for every 24 hours you want to keep a standard 40-quart cooler frozen. (Note: Dry ice sublimates continuously, so we recommend picking it up or having it delivered as close to the time you need to use it as possible!)
⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ⚠️
Please read carefully before purchasing. Dry ice is incredibly useful but must be handled with respect.
- Never Touch With Bare Hands: Dry ice will cause severe frostbite upon contact with bare skin. Always use heavy leather/winter gloves, or use a scoop to move the pellets.
- Never Seal in an Airtight Container: As dry ice sublimates into gas, it expands. Placing it in a completely airtight container (like a sealed glass jar or latched Yeti cooler without a vent) can cause the container to burst. Always allow the gas to vent slightly.
- Proper Ventilation: If you are transporting dry ice inside the cabin of your vehicle, keep a window slightly cracked. Do not sleep in a tent, car, or unventilated room with a cooler of dry ice.
- Keep Away from Children & Pets: This is not a toy. Do not ingest, and keep well out of reach of children and animals.
